This great recipe for chocolate truffle cake is the first product that chef Rachel Carr from Cru in Silver Lake is taking to the public. It is in most of the health food supermarkets in southern California. Her restaurant Cru features a cooked and live veggie menu. Cru is not to be missed. It is one of my favorites in Los Angeles. Be sure to try the cashew cheese and fig pate appetizer and the pesto raviolis.
